S. C. Stuart is a corporate/ghost/writer, based at Alpha Edison part-time, with (external) clients including: DTCC/Wall Street, Faith Popcorn Brain Reserve, Milken Institute, RAND Corporation, Sony Pictures and The Friedkin Group.
Also, as a technology commentator, S.C. writes for ELLE China, Esquire Latino, Mosaic/Morgan Stanley and Ziff Davis PCMag. Subjects covered: artificial intelligence; brain-machine interfaces; bionic medicine; augmented, virtual, and mixed reality; DARPA; NASA; US Army Cyber Command - and has met 27+ robots (including the scary ones).
Born in the UK, S.C. was educated at the University of London (RHBNC) and emigrated to the US in 2001. From 2006 - 2013, S.C. was an executive at Hearst; promoted to head of digital for Hearst’s international magazine brands in China, Korea, Japan and across Europe.
Outside work, S.C. is on a mission to travel to, explore, and photograph, all the “silicon” cities aside from Silicon Valley. Seen so far: Silicon Beach (Santa Monica), Silicon Slopes (Utah), Silicon Steel (Pittsburgh), Silicon Motor (Detroit), Silicon Hills (Austin, TX), Silicon Mountain (Denver) and - in the UK - Silicon Roundabout (London) and Silicon Seaside (Brighton).
